I practice psychoanalysis in
Vancouver, British Columbia.
I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC), certified by ACCT, and a founder and board member of Corpo Freudiano Vancouver. I hold a BA in Clinical Psychology and an MA in Critical Theory.
I have worked in private practice with adolescents and adults since 2005. My clinical experience includes anxiety, depression, loss and grief, trauma, and addiction, alongside the difficulties of everyday life: emotional distress, relationship conflicts, uncertainty, and questions about identity.

Speaking
Listening
Psychoanalysis works through the words of the person speaking—the analysand. Speaking about what causes suffering, with someone listening closely, can bring to light connections between present difficulties, personal history, and patterns that repeat in our lives. Through this work, the unconscious can emerge, revealing something of the truth of our suffering and opening possibilities for change.
Amid the pressure to produce, improve, and consume, psychoanalysis makes time for what these demands can leave unheard. It offers a space to question what is expected of us and to explore desire—what moves us, including what we find difficult to acknowledge. This work can open possibilities for living beyond the measures of success and satisfaction offered to us.
